$50,000 available to high school seniors through national scholarship program
Area high school seniors are encouraged to visit First Bank to obtain a college scholarship application form. Completed application forms are due by March 15, 2006. Students do not need to be First Bank customers in order to apply.
Participating First Bank locations in Missouri include Beaufort, Bismarck, Dutzow, Farmington, Gerald, Hermann, Montgomery City, Owensville, Park Hills, Ste. Genevieve, Warrenton, and Washington.
Participating First Bank locations in Illinois include Bartonville, Belleville, Breese, Brighton, Carbondale, Chester, Columbia, East St. Louis, Edwardsville, Galesburg, Granite City, Greenville, Jacksonville, Jerseyville, Johnston City, Knoxville, Lawrenceville, O’Fallon, Peoria, Pittsfield, Quincy, Red Bud, Roodhouse, Salem, Springfield, Swansea, Valmeyer, Vandalia, West Frankfort, Waterloo, and Winchester.
ACCEL/Exchange is offering 34 college scholarships worth a total of $50,000 to high school seniors in the United States who have been accepted to an accredited four-year college. ACCEL/Exchange will award four $5,000 grants and 30 $1,000 grants to selected applicants.
