COMMUNITY FIRST FINANCIAL RESOURCES was started as a division of First Bank to provide strategic business solutions for religious organizations. The partners bring unique perspectives to this market as they have worked for both financial institutions as well as for faith based organizations. They bring a real understanding of the challenges faced in realizing a vision.

Therese DeGroot is Market President and Division Manager. She has more than 25 years of financial and management experience and has worked exclusively with and for nonprofit organizations for over 17 years. She established the religious lending division to serve the faith based community and is committed to providing unique services to this market.

Kriss Murphy is Senior Vice President and Sales Manager. She has more than 12 years experience in the religious/nonprofit sector and brings time-tested expertise in finance structuring, strategic planning, capital campaigns and practical execution to organizations served. This unique experience will help clients attain their vision through solid business practices.

Daron Rogers is Vice President, Relationship Manager. Daron has more than 19 years of experience in religious lending. Most of those years spent with two nationally recognized credit unions where he managed and developed new business across the country. Known for his strong commitment to serve the faith based community, he possesses the skills and knowledge to help each client attain their financial goals and effectively reach their communities.

Leslie Sabala is Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager. Leslie brings more than 15 years financial services expertise in both religious lending and commercial real estate. Her experience with project management, construction and treasury management products contribute to the exceptional customer service she provides to this market.

Craig Wagner is Real Estate Banking Representative. Craig brings more than 9 years financial services expertise in commercial real estate. His experience in real estate, construction and treasury management products provide the foundation for Craig to exceed our clients’ service expectations.
