Q. What does it cost to use HOA Online Pay?
A. There is no charge to use the service.
Q. Do I have to have an account with First Bank to use HOA Online Pay?
A. No. You can make your payment from almost any checking or savings account with a United States financial institution. You should contact your financial institution if you have any questions about whether your account is eligible. You cannot use IRA, CD, Credit Card or Home Equity Line of Credit accounts.
Q. Can I just make a one-time payment, or can I schedule multiple payments?
A. Once you establish a User ID and password, you can do either. You can make a current payment or schedule future payments up to 12 months in advance.
Q. When can I schedule payments?
A. Any time you choose. If a payment is scheduled to occur on a weekend or a bank holiday, the payment will be processed on the following business day.
Q. When will my HOA assessment account be credited for my payment?
A. On the day your payment is processed by the bank, funds are deposited to your association’s account with First Bank and we transmit an electronic file to your association’s financial manager.
Q. What happens if a payment is returned by my bank?
A. A returned online payment is handled just like a returned check. Your association’s account will be charged for the returned payment plus a handling fee. Your association’s financial manager will be advised of the returned payment. The return will be charged back to your HOA assessment account. A returned payment will likely cause your account to be assessed a late fee by your association.
Q. Can I set up more than one bank account to make my payments?
A. Yes. Just sign in using your User ID and password and click “Maintain Bank Accounts” to add a new account or modify existing bank account information.
Q. Can I make HOA Online Payments using a credit or debit card?
A. Not at this time. Currently, online payments may only be made from a valid checking or savings account
with a United Sates financial institution are accepted.
Q. I own more than one unit. Do I have to set up a separate HOA Online Pay account for each one?
A. No. You can make payments for multiple units using the same HOA Online Pay account.
Q. Can I make a partial payment or pre-pay future assessments using HOA Online Pay?
A. Yes. The payment will be processed for whatever amount you specify and will be applied to your HOA assessment account.
Q. What happens if I sell my unit?
A. Unless you have scheduled future payments that have not been processed, basically, nothing. If you have scheduled future payments, you should delete those payments, before close of escrow to ensure against the potential of a payment being processed before unit information is updated.
Q. How secure is my personal and banking information? How will that information be used?
A. First Bank’s HOA Online Pay service provides a private and secure environment in which to make assessment payments. We require you access our service with browsers that are 128-bit compliant and we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) that ensures your connection and information is secure.

Q. What happens if my assessment amount changes?
A. Payments will be processed for whatever amount you specify. If you have future scheduled payments, these will need to be canceled and new payments created with the new amount.
Q. HOA Online Pay isn’t accepting my account number. What should I do?
A. Contact your Homeowners Association / Management Company to see if they participate in HOA Online Pay.
Q. My association has put a hold on my assessment account, can I make a payment through HOA Online Pay?
A. No, you need to contact your management company to arrange for payment to be accepted.
Q. Are there any restrictions on the kind of browser I can use?
