Trust Expertise and Leadership

We understand the importance of trust guidance and leadership. We take great pride in our years of expertise serving clients in this important area of wealth management.

A trust agreement is a document that spells out the rules that you want followed for property held in trust for you and your beneficiaries. We focus on reducing your estate tax liability, protecting estate property, reducing estate taxes, providing for minors or other family members, providing liquid assets to help pay estate taxes and ways to avoid probate. When you create a trust you become the Grantor or Donor. You then appoint us to manage your trust as your Trustee. You will also choose the Beneficiaries who will ultimately benefit from the trust.

A Revocable Trust is a three-party, legal document designed to ensure property and assets are held in a secure trust for its intended beneficiaries. The beneficiaries may receive the property and assets at any time during the grantor’s life or after death.

An Irrevocable Trust is a permanent, legal document designed to ensure property and assets are held in a secure trust for its intended beneficiaries. Just as the name implies, this type of trust cannot be revoked, modified, or altered once it is established.

When setting up a trust, a trusted individual or corporation must be selected to function as the trustee. This family member, friend or corporation will be given complete control of the property and assets contained within the established special needs trust.

Giving can help make the world a better place for ourselves, our children and future generations. The importance of charitable trusts are felt by those in need – whether that be during your lifetime or later.
